The Village of Brockport has secured a New York Forward Grant of $4.5 million. SUNY Brockport was a proud supporter of this grant submission, which should have a great impact on the development of the village and therefore our students’ experiences here. The funds will be used to attract new businesses and entrepreneurs, and continue the enhancement of our waterfront. As the Governor’s press release noted, “The Village seeks to transform its historic downtown corridor into an accessible tourist destination and a home where visitors, residents and people of all abilities can recreate, socialize, live and age in comfort.”
