The Route 19 steel lift bridge in Brockport, originally built in 1915, has been reopened after completion of a rehabilitation project that began in May 2023 and took about a year long to complete as planned. More than 80% of the steel was replaced with high-strength galvanized steel including the deck and portions of the truss system. There will still be construction activities around the bridge in the weeks to come , which may result in occasional short-term delays. The local Brockport business is hoping that business will now pick up again with the bridge open, just in time for the holiday season.

The funds will be used to attract new businesses and entrepreneurs, and continue the enhancement of our waterfront.
